Triple The Texture

Mixing different textures and patterns is a fabulous way to create more variety in your outfits. In this outfit we have three different patterns and textures. We have a chiffon printed top, a crocheted cardigan, and to top it all off, a denim jacket. Even though these are all different, they compliment each other and create an unique look. I challenge you to step out of your comfort zone and mix some textures and patterns!

Long crochet cardigans are great for achieving that bohemian look. They probably are the best layering gimmick and style statement right now. Because the dress is already busy alone, pairing it with a simple cardigan can really tone down the dress.

Well, worry no further because this outfit is so wearable and adorable! Wearing bright colored leggings is a bold move-- and if you do it right, you don't have to worry about overdoing it. Leggings can be brightly colored without being outlandish. What you can do is wear bright colored leggings with neutral colors such as black and white. Outfits like these are so comfortable and easy and people will think you gave a lot of thought to this outfit.

A favorite fall fashion staple is a plaid shirt. You can wear a plaid shirt all year round but honestly, they look the best in the fall and winter. These shirts are so versatile and can be worn in a million ways! For example, you can wear a plaid shirt around your waist or open like a cardigan! Either way, it really makes a difference in a simple outfit and adds depth to your look.

Color Pop

A simple black and white outfit can be classic and chic, but the color pop from the jacket really completes the outfit and makes it special. The maroon corduroy jacket is perfect because the hemline hits the same spot where the dress cinches in. This look is a little bit grungy but for a girly look throw out the beanie, add some black flats and your look is completely transformed!
